Structured as a rehearsal setting, we will approach material slowly and methodically, giving you time to explore text and character without the pressure of performance. All of our work in class is rooted in the text, and so we will begin with in-depth script analysis. Once the text is harnessed, we will incorporate voice and movement work designed to strengthen your technique and broaden your range as an actor. Actors will work every week on either scenes or monologues, assigned by Terra.
Advanced Scene Study

Advanced scene study is open to actors who’ve taken three classes with Terra and are looking for a bigger challenge. Material assignments will be a longer, in depth study of a play. All script analysis work will be done outside of class by you and your scene partner, leaving more room in class for voice and movement work to deepen your connection to your instrument and sharpen your technique. Actors will work every week on either scenes or monologues, assigned by Terra.
Full class fee is due upon registration, payable through Venmo. Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
